As mentioned in this month's QRO...we usually celebrate International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend at Pt. Vicente every August (including a Sunday family picnic) instead of holding an August club meeting. But this year obviously is different and gathering in person at Pt. Vicente was unwise.
This Saturday is busy with online ham events. First, see the QRO article about this weekend's ground-breaking QSO Today virtual hamfest. Registration is free to hams (exhibitors are paying the expenses) for this first of its kind online hamfest. All talks will be recorded and accessible for 30 days afterwards. Second, the PVARC is holding its monthly HF Enthusiasts Group meeting via Webex this Saturday from 10:00 am to Noon. The one-click Webex link for that is also shown below.
