K6PV repeater enhancements were completed last Saturday and the repeater returned to its usual location at full antenna height (subject to wind conditions). In the upcoming QRO issue next week a short article will discuss the enhancements Gary Lopes, WA6MEM, made to improve K6PV and its coverage for you.
Our weekly club nets are tonight at 7:30 pm for the analog net (447.120 MHz, - shift , Tone Squelch, PL 100.0; with a cross-band link on 144.910 MHz, Tone Squelch, PL 156.7). That's followed by our DMR net at 8:00 pm which operates in more of a round-table manner (447.120 MHz RX, 442.120 TX, Color Code 1, Time Slot 2, Talkgroup 31060.) I hope you can check in on either or both nets and say hello.
Lastly, the PVARC and three disaster amateur radio groups serving the Palos Verdes Peninsula will be exhibiting at this Sunday's Prepared Peninsula EXPO from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm in the Norris Pavilion (501 Indian Peak Road, Rolling Hills Estates.)
