Just in time for ARRL Field Day preparations our monthly HF Enthusiasts Group meeting happens this Saturday from 10:00 am to Noon via Webex. The one-click link to connect into the meeting is shown below...use your Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android device with the respective Webex app or use your web browser. If all else fails you may phone-in (audio only) using the number shown. All PVARC members are welcome to participate, share HF information, or ask questions.
Many of us will be operating Field Day this year from home stations and our July club meeting also online via Webex will share in words and photos what PVARC members did during this unusual FD.
Our June monthly meeting held online last Thursday featured Ray Day, N6HE, and Gary Lopes, WA6MEM, discussing the propagation characteristics of each ham band from 160-meters through VHF. We've received great feedback about this presentation and requests for another showing. More on this next week along with the Webex link to our Saturday, June 20, PVARC EmComm Interest Group online meeting.
In the meantime our weekly K6PV DMR net is tonight from 7:30-7:55 pm...all with DMR radios are encouraged to check in and mention anything radio-related they'd like. If you need help with DMR we have knowledgeable members who are glad to assist.
